Although it was a long day, Sacred Heart played well throughout the day. With a few key players unable to attend the tournament, Sacred Heart had an uphill battle. Despite the setback, Sacred Heart had a great finish to the fall semester. The MVP for the day was senior Melissa Weaver. Not only did Melissa set up to set all day when our setters couldn’t attend the tournament, this was Melissa’s last tournament with Sacred Heart. Melissa has played on the team all four years and served as captain for this past semester. Her energy on and off the court will be sorely missed. We wish all the best for Melissa in her future endeavors!
